Meet Erica

Hi, I’m Erica, the founder of iCare LAB… and Erica spells iCare. For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of helping people discover that movement can be so much more than exercise. It can be confidence, stress relief, joy, healing, and a reminder that you deserve to care for yourself. I created iCare LAB to build the kind of wellness community where every person feels seen, supported, and welcomed. The community has already been built. iCare LAB is simply giving it a home. I can’t wait to welcome you.

IN HER WORDS

The Story Behind iCare LAB

My Story

I’ve spent more than a decade teaching movement right here in Claymont, Delaware — group fitness floors, dance studios, living rooms turned makeshift Pilates classes. Somewhere along the way I noticed the same thing over and over: people didn’t come back because a workout was hard. They came back because, for 45 minutes, someone made them feel like they belonged exactly as they were.

That noticing became iCare LAB. Not a gym. Not a bootcamp. A wellness studio built around the idea that self-care isn’t a reward you earn after you’ve changed your body — it’s something you deserve right now, in the body you already have.

Why Loving All Bodies

iCare LAB was built on a simple belief: every body that walks through our door is welcome, exactly as it is. We don’t program around a “before and after.” We program around how you feel — stronger, calmer, more like yourself. Whether you’re brand new to movement or you’ve been doing this for years, there’s no version of you that isn’t ready to be here.

Why Permission Matters

So many of the women I’ve worked with — moms, caregivers, women moving through midlife and perimenopause, women who’ve spent years taking care of everyone but themselves — have never actually been given permission to put themselves first. That’s where “Permission Granted” comes from. It’s not a slogan. It’s the whole point. You don’t need to earn rest, movement, or joy. You already have permission. I just wanted to be the one to say it out loud.

My Promise to You

Every class, every session, every note I send is held to one standard: does this make someone feel seen? I promise a space with no judgment, no comparison, and no pressure to look a certain way — just real movement, real community, and room to be exactly who you are. That’s the community iCare LAB was built to hold, and I can’t wait to welcome you into it.
